This site is meant to be a jumping off place for your own devotions.  I am not a Bible Teacher.  I am however a lover of the Scriptures and the wonderful teachings they contain.  These blogs are just my thoughts as I read the Bible.  They are here for you to read and perhaps to spark ideas of your own. 

 

There will probably be quite a few questions asked in my ramblings, I tend to question things in the Bible.  Not that I question the Bible itself (to me it is the Word of God beyond question), but I like looking beyond the mere words to the people and stories behind them.  What were they like?  What did they think when this or that happened to them?  What happened next in their lives?  The verses in the Bible also make me ask questions of myself as well?  What would I have done?  What change does this make in me as I read it?  What is God saying to me today as I read these words?

The graphics are yours to save and use as you see fit.  I create them using free images from a site called Pixabay.com or pictures taken or drawn by myself, my children or grandchildren.  To edit the pictures and the text I use a free program called Paint.net.  So none of this cost me anything except time which I have an abundance of. I enjoy creating them and I hope they help you as you study God's Word and seek to "hide it in your Heart".
